How 531 handles your data

Short version: we can only send what you approve, we don't train on your content, and everything we keep has a documented expiry or a documented reason not to. Longer version below. Longest version in the privacy policy.

Publish-only, by design.

Connecting LinkedIn is optional. When you do, 531 uses LinkedIn's official API with a single permission: post on your behalf when you press the button. We cannot read your feed, inbox, connections, or engagement. Tokens are encrypted; disconnecting revokes and deletes them. We don't scrape LinkedIn, automate outreach, or run bots.

No training on your data.

We don't train or fine-tune AI models on your content, and we don't enroll in any provider program that would allow it. Your conversations, documents, and writing samples are used to help you, in your workspace, and nowhere else.

Scoped to your workspace.

Every account, document, and conversation belongs to one workspace — personal or team — and access is checked against it on every request. Team admins see the team's account book and shared library; members see their own work. Two roles, kept simple on purpose.

Yours until you delete it.

Your content has no expiry. Deleting your account starts a 30-day quarantine, then a purge across every system we use, with a receipt recorded per system. Privacy requests are honored on request, without the wait. Every other retention window we enforce is written down, with the job that enforces it.

Who else touches it.

We name every vendor that processes your data in the privacy policy — identity, hosting, database, AI providers, enrichment, analytics, and monitoring — and what each one sees. Global Privacy Control signals are honored automatically.

Where we are, honestly.

We've completed an internal security audit and remediated every finding. We do not yet hold a SOC 2 report, offer SSO/SAML, or provide a customer-visible audit log. If one of those is a requirement for you, tell us — it's the kind of thing that shapes what we build next.
